DSCN0620Part I: Miracles & Magic

Do you believe in miracles or magic? Should you? Should you not?

I must say that in today’s day and age it can be easy to fall into feeling like you better believe in miracles, because something has to save us from the economy. On the other hand, it is also easy to think you better not, because you must be real and rely on what will be reliable in these challenging times. Especially with 2012 coming our way.

Believing in something more, something beyond our physical realm is a very personal thing. Some people are religious or spiritual, others are agnostic.

Regardless of what you do or do not believe, you can know what is occurring. We all know that we are living though some challenging times. We also know that things are changing, such as the world’s climate. If you take note of world events, there are definitely shifts occurring.

The truth is that there are always shifts occurring: seasons are always changing and there is always something affecting humanity. For example, in the sixties there was a large movement toward breaking away from rigidity. Rebellion became popular and hippies introduced free love and peace.

There truly always is something occurring. So, the question is, what is occurring now and do we need a miracle?

From a Life Coach or a spiritual perspective, there is a shift toward becoming Who we truly are. What this means this year is that, miracles or not, dreams are coming true.

It may seem obvious, but not everyone knows what they dream of or what they would like their lives to be like. Our dreams are actually a key guidance system for us, nudging and prodding us in the direction we are meant to go and in the direction that will bring us fulfillment. Knowing what we prefer, how we would like to be and what we would like to experience is basic to some people, but unknown to others. This is the first key to keeping in the flow of the times:

Key #1: Know Yourself

Spiritual Cinema: Eat Pray Love

By Kalyn
Imagine, spending a year seeking pleasure! In this movie, as you may know, the main character spends a year in three countries, finding the theme of her time in each to be the food she ate, learning to meditate and falling in love. Leaving her life and reoccurring problems behind, she takes a year to try to improve her life, deciding that waking up
unhappy and unenthusiastic about life is not a way to live.
Now that is living a spiritual priority! Deciding that having a joyous life is more important than having a stable life or a relationship, or even your friends around is truly living your spiritual priority.
The truth is that many of us miss one of the key messages of the book/movie. In Italy she is told that Americans tend to busy themselves, missing the “dolce far niente” aspect of life, meaning the sweetness of doing nothing. This is because many of us have a deep-seeded belief or premise about life that promises that if we don’t work hard, which excludes enjoying some time to relax, we won’t have what we want or need in life. Unfortunately, this is completely false and often keeps us from what we most value and want.
It isn’t that hard work or dedicating ourselves to something is a bad thing- Actually taking actions is the only way to allow our dreams to come into our lives. Actions are meant to be a wonderful expression of our being. Doing things can be our part in allowing the energies that
we prefer into our lives. For this though, we need to be certain to tap into the energies that we prefer, say joy.
We will never experience joy in our lives, however, when we are spending our time
trying to do everything we can to make more money so that we can hire a housekeeper, giving us time to relax and feel some joy. Why not just take the time to relax and then take care of our responsibilities when we are feeling refreshed and joyful?
Even better still, why not take the “dolce far niente” time to relax, to enjoy our homes and to find out what our being prefers to
experience? Then we can focus the same energy and actions towards what
we prefer, as opposed to just working for the sake of having time off later. In this way, many of us tend to put the cart before the horse, always seeking what we desire when we could be enjoying it now.
Many of us blindly accept the belief that we must busy ourselves, even when it is unkind to ourselves. At the same time we also tend to believe that, regardless of our religious or spiritual beliefs, God is a benevolent being. The irony here is that we allow God to be loving and kind, but we are not necessarily this way with ourselves.
Many religions attribute life to God; and yet Christianity says that God rested on the seventh day. No doubt, enjoying the spiritual
principal of “dolce far niente”, because life is meant to be enjoyed.

As everyone knows, subconscious beliefs affect us and activate energies that we may not prefer. These tend to be deeply ingrained beliefs from our conditioning. These beliefs even tend to have beliefs sprouting from them so that it is hard to find these core beliefs.

This summer’s seasonal energy is about choosing more of Who you are. Within the theme of becoming more of Who you are this year, we are all finding that this has been a tough summer. Everyone is deeply immersed in their outer world working on their desire which is coming to some level of fruition. The deep work in the outer world is a good thing, and it is having everyone question what they believe.

Beliefs is a key to unlocking your dreams this summer. Unlocking comes when we release old, limiting beliefs and choose higher-vibrating beliefs that we can use to play the game of life. Another way of saying this is that this summer is challenging us to put a new program (beliefs) into our computers (ourselves), the program of Who we prefer to be. This, of course, requires deleting the old program off the computer so that the new one can run.

A new program, or belief, is not just a belief. It is truly a new program with different features and capabilities. We just saw the movie Inception. In the movie the main characters have the ability to enter into another’s dreams (during slumber) and to plant ideas, or beliefs into them. Their task in the movie is to get the heir to a huge energy company to take his new inheritance and break up his father’s company. Before the task, the heir plans on leaving the company as one, giving his company a monopoly on energy. After the inception of the idea (which they plant deep in the subconscious mind during dreaming), the heir has changed his mind. He now sees his father as having approved of him; he now feels that his father wanted him to be his own man and he is now ready to change everything about his company.

If you haven’t seen Inception, I recommend it. It is very appropriate to this summer’s energetic theme, which everyone is living now. It paints several great pictures of what a single belief can do, how many levels of your life a belief can affect and permeate. It shows how destructive a limiting belief can be and how powerfully beneficial and freeing an empowering belief can be.

If a belief serves you, it is empowering – unless you believe that it is and you are not seeing it clearly.

Notice whether your beliefs serve you, truly. As a co-creator we need to be very aware of the affects our current beliefs have on us and we need choose new beliefs that serve us.

Kalyn

What do You Believe?

Posted Friday, July 16th, 2010

Taken from our free Four Agreements Forum at www.toltecmysteryschool.com:

DSC_0016On the topic of the 5th agreement, a great topic has come up: beliefs.

Are you operating under old beliefs? Or have you chosen your beliefs, because they serve you? How so?

A true man or woman of power chooses what they believe. They choose what laws of form will serve them, they tap into this and then utilize it in whatever their intent is in life.

That is one example of living the Mastery of Intent, as a co-creator of your life.

What do you believe? Join the topic and post your belief!

Fifth Agreement

The Fifth Agreement: “Don’t believe me, don’t believe anyone else, don’t believe yourself.”

Believe me :) , life is short! What I love about this agreement is that it tells us where to go to find the answers in life. Not outside, not even inside, but rather in Self.

Tuning into our Source or our Higher Selves will yield the correct answer for us every time, even when it changes.

Erika's Graduation 011

“Mastering your energy is about coming to a place where you see when your energy needs to be shifted.

It is just like recognizing that you are having a nightmare, and choosing to change it.  Within your choosing to change it, you can change it that easily.

All you need to change is your energy.  As you have experienced, changing the energy in your dreams is just a choice.

The same is true when having your experience. “

A Zen Problem

Posted Thursday, June 17th, 2010

zen

Zen actually refers to nothing or the void.

People often ask me why it is that someone who is more advanced on their spiritual path has less problems or none at all. The answer is a zen answer.

You see, everyone has problems. Even those who are so advanced that they are masters. The difference isn’t in the problem (or lack of), but rather in the way the problem is dealt with.

Someone more advanced on their path tends to see things from the zen perspective, of nothing. They see that, although the problem is real in their experience and even though they need to handle it, they realize that from their Source’s perspective there is no problem. They also realize that when their Source looks down upon them, they may see that the person is experiencing a problem or a challenge, but the solution is given as well.

Therefore, a more advanced spiritual person doesn’t worry. They know that they are in the hands of their Source Energy, so they see the problem from a zen perspective: as no real problem at all. If there is something to handle or resolve, they know the solution has already been given.

Become zen with your life: decide that your problems aren’t real, so they don’t really affect you or your life. After all, how could they? Your Source provides the solution, when you allow it to come, making the problem innocuous.

In this zen light, life is wonderful because your life can then be about enjoying yourself and your experience. Worry-free.

One of my central focuses is on connecting with my being.

Doing, doing, doing can drive you crazy and it is a great way to drain yourself. Of course, life gets busy and it can feel as though life is encouraging us to do, do, do.

What it really comes down to is our priorities. A deeply spiritual person or master knows their priorities well. So, I am making time to be with myself daily.

I consider knowing your priorities to be imperative.  Call it a key to enlightenment, if you will.

“If you enjoy your day and your experience, you are in your Golden Flow. You are more connected to your authenticity and your Source Energy. When you do not enjoy then you (and your Source Energy) are guiding you away from what you are not. In your Golden Flow you may not enjoy all of your life, but as you let it flow, you love your life. So, follow what brings you joy and flow your life to find yourself loving your life.”

The Oracle

Being in your Golden Flow(TM) means feeling like the universe is conspiring to support you! In an Encounter Video with Alicia Mayo, she said that one of the most important things is not judging. This basic teaching is fundamental but often we forget not to judge.

Judgments are based in the belief that something is wrong or off, which is outside of our Source’s Golden Flow(TM). Today do your best to come from a basic belief of love. Decide that your life has love in it from your Source and that your life is as it should be. Embrace your life, even what you may deem “wrong”, “off”, etc.

Replacing judgments with love will put you in your Golden Flow(TM).

Have a Golden Day!

Kalyn
