Be true to yourself. Nothing else matters.

People say things all the time, both positive and negative- but it is not always the truth. When it comes down to yourself, all that matters is You. Not even the truth or a lie, just you and how you are with yourself.

When you are true to yourself you find that speaking up for yourself and asking for what you need is not a bad thing. Knowing where you are in life and what you require is a very powerful position to be in. From here, being true to yourself is an easy flow. It is an easy flow because you have made yourself your priority.

The universe honors people making their selves a priority – please notice, I am specifically talking about making your mature, authentic self a priority. People easily confuse this with making the in-authentic self a priority. The in-authentic self is characterized my immaturity and ego. Making this in-authentic self a priority will only attract and create problems and difficulties in life.

When we put the in-authentic self first we can’t help but be detrimental to ourselves and to others.

When we put our Self (the authentic Self) first, we can’t help but benefit ourselves and others. We also can’t help but be true to ourselves.
