“There is ever only one thing to gain- no matter the circumstance or the experience- and that is the Who & What you truly are.”
Kalyn Raphael, The Oracle
For any of us who are interested in changing our lives or our world–
For those of us who would like to use The Law of Attraction to attract everything to we that we desire—
Are you curious about the fact that to some people colors seem brighter, smells seem stronger, feelings seem more pronounced, in sum life can be a beautiful experience?
We can change our world. We can have a spiritual awakening. It is easier than most of us probably think. All it requires is living our life knowing that every experience and every circumstance is about us. They are not about others nor what another has done to or for us. Every experience and circumstance is here to show us to ourselves. Every experience is here to help us come to come to know who we truly are.
If we have an experience we don’t like, we are learning something about ourselves we don’t like. Let’s not fool ourselves, otherwise we’ll miss our awakening! The experience is not here to show us what we don’t like about life or another person. The experience is here to show us something we don’t like about ourselves. I know, it seems like the someone or something in our experience is what we don’t like, but that’s not really it.
Tonight I saw my old teacher, don Miguel Ruiz (author of the bestselling The Four Agreements), on a late night show on TV here in Mexico. He spoke of the agreement not to take things personally. We can’t take life or another personally because the experience we are having is our own. The person or the experience belong to us. We shouldn’t take them personally because life is just life. People are just people, whether they are kind or rude.
What we should take to heart is our experience. It is happening to us for us. The Law of Attraction says that our experience is us and that it is happening to us because an energy within us attracts what we then experience.
This occurs so that we may become aware of our energy. At that point, we come to realize that we can’t take what happens to us personally, because the circumstances are our energy. We can take our energy personally, because it is ours; it attracted the experience. We need to look at why we attract the experiences that we attract to ourselves so that we can then shift this, improve it within ourselves.
But we can’t take other people personally, as don Miguel says, because they only served the universe in showing us our own energy. Perhaps instead of taking them personally, we should thank people and life circumstances for helping us!
One big step towards our enlightenment requires realizing that people and circumstances are not to be hated or blamed, but rather seen as opportunities for our benefit. These numerous opportunities are truly one opportunity masked by various different experiences, and that is the opportunity to come to know who and what we truly are.
At ever turn, life pushes our buttons and causes us problems. At every turn we have the opportunity to choose to reconnect with our Source Energy. Every circumstance and every experience brings us the choice of seeing who and what we truly are by flowing our energy, putting us into our to our Golden Flow (TM), the place of our connection with our Source Energy, or the opportunity to stay out of our flow. When we choose to stay out of our flow we are truly choosing negative emotions, such as blame, irritation, judgment and so on. These emotions are negative because they lack our Source’s Flow. They are stagnant energies that keep us attached to limiting beliefs. How so? For example, if someone has wronged us, we may be angry and say something that is rude to another, because we believe that they should not have wronged us. We therefore justify our negative emotion and our behavior.
This kind of thinking and these kinds of feelings are detrimental to us. They keep us in that stagnant belief. On the contrary, if we are going to recognize that every circumstance and experience is here to help us know who and what we are, then we are going to dismiss the person who wronged us.
Instead, we are going to focus on our energy and how we feel, allowing our feelings to flow. When we allow our feelings to flow we place ourselves back into our Source’s flow, thus placing ourselves back into a place of light and a place of love. We allow ourselves to let the anger go at which point the feeling is then replaced by a connection to Source Energy.
Allowing ourselves to flow our energy in this way, with every circumstance and every experience that we can, brings us to a place of connection with our Source Energy. This connection paves a quick path toward our Spiritual awakening and at this place, we can’t help but come to know who and what we truly are–an aspect of Source Energy having a joyous and meaningful life journey.
