Nothing But To Be

by Kalyn on June 3, 2009

There is so much to do every day, so many things to tend to.

Now I sit outside, under the ramada by the fire, surrounded by my Ohana*. I feel so comfortable: I laugh, smile and speak. The wind is blowing, the clouds are colorful and I feel that there is nothing to do.

But to sit here and be.

To Sit Here & Be

To Sit Here & Be

* Ohana – In Hawaiian Ohana means family,  a word we have adopted to describe those who feel like family in our spiritual schools and circles; those who we share a spiritual path with in this journey of life.

~Joy~

Joy comes from within.

We can’t be given joy and we can’t have something happen to make us joyful. Instead, we need to tap into the love we have for ourselves, for our day and for the gifts in our life.

Then joy will overflow from us.
