The Oracle has talked about how this is a year of form, meaning that this is a year when we are meant to strengthen ourselves. We always have unseen help (from our guides, our Soul, our Source…), and still do, but at some point we are given some time to try to walk on our own after having had our hand held.

So, this is feeling like a tough year. I have noticed it in myself and in the school my husband, Kris, and I run. Everyone is getting closer to their dreams, but its been tough because we need to become who we truly are by allowing another ray of Source flow into our lives.

In our school this has meant that, for example, one student is working on becoming more connected with his assertive masculine flow. In this way, the relationship he attracted can blossom with him as a more confidant man than he had been in past relationships, which were more co-dependent.

As another example, another student in our school has her own business. She does well with her business but often feels overwhelmed and feels like she works all of the time. She feels like she is missing some time to be with and enjoy herself- and this is true. The ray of Source she is meant to bring forward is of her individuality and her preferences. She needs to connect with who she wants to be and what she desires. When she brings this forward, her business and her life will have more of their own “flavor”, which is her. Truly, her life will have more color and joy.

The beauty of this year is that we aren’t ever left alone and that, even though this may feel like a tough year it probably also feels like a year in which more dreams are possible, because they are.

Here’s to bringing your Source Energy into your life and using this year to make your dreams come true!

I was trying out a new show called “Trust Me”. Their are two main characters that work for an advertising agency. One day they are under the gun to come up with an advertising campaign and are arguing when one of them says to the other: “Perception is reality”, meaning that what their client thinks cannot be dismissed.

Great line, great truth.

If a fabric is plush, we assume it is soft. If we say “Sorry, I’m so stupid sometimes!” we find ourselves doing “stupid” things more often.

Perception as defined by the dictionary: “the act or faculty of apprehending by means of the senses or of the mind; cognition; understanding.”

The way we choose to re-cognize or understand something is the way we will then experience life. In other words, how we understand something then defines what we experience as our reality.

If you get hit on the head by a falling acorn, then you may perceive that they sky is falling. If you advertise this perception, this belief, then you (and anyone else who believes you) may begin to experience the sky falling.

This is one reason why some people seem to have things work out for them in life, or seem to have things fall into their lap. They perceive a clear sky and an acorn that hit their head- no big deal. This causes them less worry.

Next, and more importantly, they also perceive that they are intelligent and capable people so that even if they sky did start to fall, they know they would be able to handle it.

So, when trouble comes their way (and problems come to everyone in life) they perceive the problems to be small and manageable. They perceive that they will be able to solve the problem and that it will be no big deal.

We truly advertise who we are, what we are capable of and what will happen to us based on the beliefs and preconceptions we subscribe to. Because we subscribe to them, we are constantly advertising this to ourselves.

People who come from intelligent families advertise that they will have intelligent children who will attend prestigious universities; people who have never had much and who struggle tend to have children whose beliefs advertise that life is hard and that you get little in return. Generally speaking, this is then what their children experience.

I love the word advertise in this case! It is a great word that describes what we do. Just like a commercial on television that advertises a product, we advertise our beliefs to ourselves by reinforcing them all of the time. When we keep hearing the same beliefs within us sooner or later we believe this and then, because we perceive it, it becomes our reality!

If, on the other hand, we turned off our televisions – or stopped believing our own beliefs- then we could change the commercials. We could, instead, start to advertise what we want to advertise to ourselves. We could start to tell ourselves that we are very capable, that our dreams are coming true for us and that we are loving, wonderful people. We deserve having our dreams come true for no good reason.

We would advertise wonderful things about us to ourselves and we would start believing and experiencing a wonderful life. Our wonderful energy would use the Law of Attraction to attract wonderful things into our lives.

Now our advertised perception would cause us to see that, at second glance, life is more wonderful and more loving than we initially thought… and we are too.

If I look in the dark, my world and my life are dark.

If I look up toward the sun, the light illuminates it all. It makes things feel better and it makes more of life seem possible. Even my dreams move from the realm of the possible to the experienced.

Now I dream of the possibility of having an even larger ohana than I do now (ohana is the Hawaiian word for family and we think of ourselves as a spiritual family). I dream of going on journeys with this large family, of growing together, experiencing life together and of watching each member become who they truly are and live the life they are truly meant to live! That is my dream of heaven on earth.

Who you truly are, has it all, is it all.

Who you are has your dreams manifested already. Your Source Energy has no limits–not of things, not of experiences, not of time. Your Source Energy experiences your desires manifest NOW. There is one reasons that you aren’t experience your desires manifest now: You have not yet become the you of your dreams It can take time for you to become Who you truly are, but it doesn’t have to take a long time. Once you allow yourself to be Who you truly are, then the Law of Attraction quickly brings things your way.

Although it takes time for you to change and for your life to catch up, this is a particularly powerful time to become Who You truly Are. It may feel like a tough year, but it is an opportunistic year. This year is meant to fluff your feathers, to get into all of the dark, small spaces where stagnant energy is hiding within you, as it does in us all. No doubt many people will attest to an already challenging year. However, this is required for you to expand.

How does one expand? Simply by moving more of the Source Energy that you are into those stagnant pockets, replacing them with your true self, your Source. In other words, the more of that murky energy that gets stirred up for you, the more you are able to bring your true energy in. We continue to expand and grow through the fulfillment of our dreams, our desires. We continue to energetically get larger and more capable the more we live our dreams. We live our dreams by becoming more of Who We truly Are in life. It is easy to want to avoid life’s challenges and pain, but when we allow these challenges, welcome these challenges, we are given the opportunity to recognize that the challenges are not real. We are what is real. We have the chance to identify ourselves with our what we truly are–Source energy. We then remove the identification with pain. We then are naturally more identified with the Who that lives our dream life.

Ask yourself: What do you dream about? What do you desire? Who do you want to be?

Whether you are seeking to be a lover in a relationship, a creative artist, a business person or whether you are seeking abundance, health or joy, it is all the same. All of these or any of these are within your reach when you become the You of your dream.

We were talking here at home and saying that before bed it is great to do a “death” process, meaning that you let all of your life go. You allow yourself to leave everything behind for the night, as if you were dying to your life since the day is over. (You are reborn into your life again in the morning).

Letting all of your life go this way is a great practice because it allows you to release a lot of what blocks your connection to Source. You allow your energy to flow, putting you into more authentic, Source energies. Increase your use of the Law of Attraction, since you enhance and clear your energy which increases your ability to attract!

You will find that you will feel better, you will be more clear in the mornings and life will flow better for you. You will also find that it is easier to then allow your dreams to flow into your life!
